- 修飾動詞：
- 1、一般動詞前，be 動詞後，如：It’s almost noon, and we haven’t had lunch yet.（已經要正午了，而我們還沒吃午飯。）
- 2、動詞後，如：Thank you so much.（非常感謝你。）
- 修飾形容詞或副詞：
- 1、置於形容詞／副詞之前，如：It’s a little hot in the house.（屋子裡有點熱。）
- 2、置於形容詞／副詞之後，如：Is the sweater big enough for you? （這件毛衣對你來說夠大嗎？）
- enough 作為「形容詞」修飾名詞時，須置於名詞前。如：Do we have enough food for 30 people?（我們有足夠的食物供應 30 個人嗎？）
